I make custom hats in Portugal and ship worldwide.

My hats are unique items created specially for you, with their own history, I work on the essence of each one. Create something special that has meaning and soul.

By destroying them, burning them and basically discovering the philosophy of my work "100% imperfect" Imperfection makes perfect. Starting small, you can have a lot.

Hats mean more to me than an accessory. They are a way of life, a philosophy to follow, MY RELIGION. The power of creating something with your own hands and seeing the end result is a unique feeling, each hat is a part of me. 

STEP 1 Meeting

You will have a meeting or video call with me, so you can explain  what your ideal hat looks like. You can take a reference of some of my latest creations. It will be good if you already have some reference pictures of what you like. 

STEP 2 How to Measure

To measure your head you can either use a soft tape measure or improvise with string and a ruler. Place it around the  circumference of your head, about half a centimetre or a finger's width above your ears, across your mid forehead, and around the widest part of the back of your head.

STEP 3 Your Choice

A hat is not just an accessory; it is a statement of who you are, what you love, and what is important to you. Decide on your preference for crown shape, brim width, and color, and gather inspiration for finishes and details. If you're having trouble, i recommend starting with Pinterest.

STEP 5 Price and Deposit

Prices start at 250 euro

Get ready for compliments, because YOU are gonna look stylish!

To order a custom hat, you must make a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost.

Once your  hat is complete, photos will be provided for you to review. The remainder of your hat cost Will the be duу prior to shipment.

STEP 6 Maintenance

The hats are made of 100% rabbit fur felt. This is a hardy, natural material that is water resistant, however, not waterproof. If your hat gets soaked, do not place it on a heater or in the sun, as heat can cause the hat to shrink. Take it inside and let it air dry on a flat service.
 To remove dust, brush the hat, always brushing in one direction 

 To remove stains, gently use fine sandpaper, then brush.

I recommend not to worry too much though, as a natural flaws will add character to your Behind The Sun hat.
